ANTI-SCAM

Anti-Scam Q&A

Will official staff ever privately ask me to transfer money or provide my password?

No. Official staff will never proactively ask players to provide account passwords, verification codes, or engage in private transactions. Please stay vigilant to avoid being scammed.

Another player offered to help me top up at a cheaper rate. Can I trust them? A: If a player privately claims they can provide "low-cost top-ups," "discounted points," or "special recharge offers," please exercise extreme caution. Scammers often lure players into paying by using tactics like "pay first, top up later" or "provide your account info to top up." This can lead to:

Losing contact with the person after payment.

Account theft.

Permanent account suspension due to the use of illegal payment channels.

We strongly advise you to only use official top-up channels to ensure the security of your account and transactions.

Someone claims they can boost my VIP level, win-trade/win-farm for me, or increase my winning rates. Is this true?

Any claims of being able to "increase winning rates," "modify odds," "control match outcomes," or "guarantee profits" are highly likely to be scams or illegal hacks/plug-ins. Please do not download programs from unknown sources, and never give your account to others to manage. This will help you avoid account theft or permanent suspension.

A player asked me to join a LINE group to get free chips. Is it safe?

If a player sends you a private message (whisper) asking you to join external groups on platforms like LINE, Discord, or Telegram, claiming you can claim free points, event rewards, or VIP benefits, please stay highly vigilant. Some scams utilize:

  • Fake event pages
  • Phishing login websites
  • Fake customer service accounts
  • These are designed to trick players into entering their accounts, passwords, or verification codes, resulting in account theft.

Someone said they need my phone verification code to gift me points. Can I give it to them?

Phone verification codes (OTPs) are critical security information. Do not share them with anyone. If you give your verification code to someone else, they may use your phone number for:

  • Mobile carrier billing purchases
  • Account binding
  • Payment verification
  • Account theft
  • Official customer service will never ask players to provide their full SMS verification codes.

Someone told me I am a lucky winner, but I need to transfer a deposit first to claim the prize?

If you encounter situations like "pay before claiming a prize," "deposit required first," or "pay a handling fee to receive rewards," it is highly likely a scam. Official events will never ask players to transfer money before receiving rewards. Please do not trust messages from strangers.

Someone offered to buy my game account at a high price. Is it safe?

Account trading carries extremely high risks. Common scenarios include:

  • Fake payment screenshots
  • Malicious disputes/reports filed against the account
  • Accounts being recovered by the seller after the trade
  • Personal data being exploited
  • Please do not casually provide your account, password, or binding information to protect your own rights and interests.

A player sent me a link and told me to download a "Crash Fix Tool"?

Please do not download APKs, repair tools, or plug-in programs from unknown sources. Some malicious software may contain:

  • Trojan horses
  • Keyloggers
  • Remote control tools
  • These can lead to the leak of your account data, phone data, and even banking information.

Someone claims that investing in game chips guarantees a profit with no risks?

If someone claims any of the following, please stay highly alert. This pattern is typical of investment scams:

  • Risk-free / Guaranteed profit
  • Guaranteed returns
  • High rewards with low risk
  • Demanding additional payments before allowing fund withdrawals

Will official customer service proactively message me in private to ask for my account and password?

Official customer service will never proactively ask for your details via in-game whispers, LINE, or Discord, including:

  • Account passwords
  • Verification codes
  • ID card details
  • Banking information
  • If you encounter a similar situation, please raise your awareness immediately and report the user.

What should I do if my account has been hacked/compromised?

If you suspect your account has been hacked, please report it to the police as soon as possible and contact our Customer Service Center by email at service@jollywins.com.tw for assistance.

A player sent a website link via private message. Can I click on it?

If a player sends a message containing a website link, the URL may look very similar to the Jolly Wins Official Website or other well-known websites (known as a "phishing URL"). The content may claim that you can obtain points, plug-ins, or other benefits. Remember, DO NOT CLICK IT.

The link may have a Trojan horse embedded to log your account and password, or it may trick you into entering personal identity information. The ultimate goal is financial theft. Do not click out of curiosity on any attempt to obtain your personal identity information via phone, email, instant messaging, or fax.
